Tax Strategy is the proactive management of finances, events, and transactions in order to minimize all forms of tax. Actual tax strategy requires taking a deep dive into a person's lives to come up with realistic solutions to their tax problems and it's something that most people don't take the time for or even know exists.

But one of the great things about having a tax expert as your financial advisor is that we will already be doing the deep dive into your finances as part of our investment management or financial planning services and it just becomes a matter of putting on a different pair of glasses as we do it. With my background and experience, tax strategy is second nature and I can usually pick up on opportunities without any additional work at all.
